FineLine Technologies Settles Down in Bergen op Zoom
“We are excited about our opportunity to expand into the Netherlands as it will help us grow and provide best-in-class service to the European market”
FineLine Technologies has selected the city of Bergen op Zoom as the location for their expansion into the European market. After its success with retail ticketing, RFID, and barcode labeling in the United States, Canada, China and Hong Kong, the enterprise is upscaling to improve both service and quality on a global level. The company is scheduled to start in the third quarter of this year at its location in Bergen at Zoom.
Renowned for their accelerated model for advanced ticketing services, FineLine has partnered with major players in the past years such as Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters and Charlotte Russe. Thanks to their innovative Fasttrak system, FineLine Technologies provides the world’s fastest solution for barcode ticketing for retailers, suppliers and manufacturers throughout the world.
The city of Bergen op Zoom stood out to FineLine Technologies as an important crossroads in Europe. Its location close to the A4 and A58 highways allows for expedited delivery throughout the continent, reaching both the European and North African market within 24 hours, while still maintaining proximity to the Dutch region’s key retailer headquarters and distribution centers.
A favorable labor market, scalable facility, and cooperative city council of Bergen op Zoom made the city an ideal choice for FineLine’s present needs and future expansion. “We are excited about our opportunity to expand into the Netherlands, specifically into Bergen op Zoom, as it will help FineLine grow and provide best-in-class service to the European market. As that growth occurs, it will be accompanied by additional local employment opportunities,” said David Antonini, Chief Financial Officer of FineLine Technologies Inc.
Alderman Ad Coppens (Economic Affairs): “We worked hard with NFIA, BOM, REWIN West-Brabant and our own means to win over FineLine Technologies. I’m very pleased that this cooperation was successful”.
