Virtual Reality Developer Jaunt Expands to the Netherlands
Amsterdam hub will focus on engineering and development
Palo Alto, Calif.-based Jaunt Inc. has opened a new engineering and development hub in Amsterdam. The office will expand the cinematic virtual reality company’s presence in Europe and help Jaunt meet the growing global demand for virtual reality content.
Jaunt’s Amsterdam office will be located in the city’s former Navy base, which is quickly turning into a center for technology and creative industries.
“The Netherlands is an ideal location to support our advanced development efforts,” said Arthur van Hoff, Co-Founder and Interim CEO of Jaunt. “As a truly international city, Amsterdam is a hotbed for engineers and developers known for pushing the boundaries of technology.”
The office will be mutually beneficial for both the company and Amsterdam’s tech community. “Its presence here, as a leading producer of immersive VR experiences, will boost Amsterdam’s innovative tech ecosystem,” said StartupDelta’s Special Envoy Constantijn van Oranje. “In turn Jaunt will experience the benefits of a rich pool of creative minds and high quality software engineers and VR developers, as well as a market that is eager to experiment and adopt new forms of content and services.”
Jaunt’s Amsterdam location joins the company’s existing offices in Palo Alto, Los Angeles, London, and Shanghai.
