AAR Aircraft Expands Amsterdam Operations
Renovated facility doubles capacity to meet rising demand
Illinois-based AAR, a worldwide provider of aviation services, has expanded its existing Aircraft Component Services (ACS) facility in Amsterdam. The expansion included renovations to its existing facility with investments in state-of-the-art testing equipment, a reconfiguration of facility space and hiring of additional staff.
The recent ACS–Amsterdam facility updates more than double the capacity of the previous facility to handle work on a longer list of parts and systems. AAR’s parts are used on various aircraft from Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Bombardier and others.
“This refresh propels ACS–Amsterdam to the leading edge of hydraulic component repair and overhaul for commercial aircraft,” said Salvatore Cristofori, Director of Sales & Commercial Operations, ACS–Amsterdam. “As important as our advanced machinery are our people. They are the backbone of our success in meeting rising demand.”
