Located between the main metropolitan areas of Europe - London, Randstad Holland and Brussels to the west/south and the German Rhine-Ruhr area to the east - Limburg is located at the heart of Europe. And home of Europe’s most desirable logistics location: Venlo. And therefore with direct access to one of the world’s largest markets: 170 million consumers within a 500 km radius.
Limburg’s labor force is multilingual by nature. We have the world’s languages at our doorstep. Within just a few minutes, you’ll find yourself in the midst of Dutch-Flemish, Francophone, German, or Anglophone Europe. This international way of thinking and trading and playing with borders is part of Limburg's DNA. It is inherent in the history of the province and Limburg's place on the map.
Limburg offers a wide range of knowledge and research institutes turning out a well-educated population ready and willing to help companies sell their products and services. Furthermore there is a strong cross-border cooperation on all levels.
