Rotterdam Partners

About Rotterdam Partners

Rotterdam Partners is dedicated to moving the city forward. We focus on Rotterdam’s image and promote the Rotterdam region nationally and internationally. We’re responsible for city marketing, acquisition marketing and helping with the development of a better business climate. This is how we strengthen the Rotterdam economy in the broadest sense of the term.

Rotterdam Partners is the official foreign investment agency for the Rotterdam area. Our International Trade & Investment (IT&I) department focuses on bringing international companies and investment to Rotterdam city and region, international trade promotion for public and private parties and the continued strengthening of the Rotterdam entrepreneurial climate. The department serves as a one stop shop and offers a ‘Red Carpet Treatment’ with information and services for international entrepreneurs and staff (expats). The choice of location, fact finding missions, introductions to relevant networks and assistance in areas such as taxation, care, permits, legislation and regulation are all part and parcel of the package of services provided by Rotterdam Partners.

Part of the IT&I department, the Rotterdam Expat Centre is the one-stop-shop that is fully dedicated to assisting international companies in relocating employees and their families, including help with residence and work permits, local formalities ad other expat-related issues.

SUCCESS STORY

"We found this amazing gem of a city that’s about the size of Boston, nestled in an economic region that’s about the size of Silicon Valley, but has two million more people. It’s connected to Amsterdam, it’s connected to TU Delft—arguably the MIT of the Netherlands, if not Europe—and Erasmus University, which is located in the city." Melissa Ablett General Manager, CIC Rotterdam
