Eindhoven’s Innovation Hub
Eindhoven is home to a large technology ecosystem that attracts companies from across the world. The region, dubbed Brainport, is one of Europe’s leading areas for technology, regarded worldwide as a center for innovation and high-tech. Brainport Eindhoven Region comprises not only Eindhoven, but all of Southeast Brabant. It is a cooperation between the 21 regional municipalities and the companies and knowledge institutions active in this region. In fact, it has a vast network of academic institutions and R&D facilities and Eindhoven’s High Tech Campus is nicknamed the “smartest square kilometer in Europe.”
Regions like Eindhoven and the presence of telecommunications companies make the Netherlands one of the world’s most wired countries. The country is an ideal location for Clearcable to expand because of this strength in broadband.
