RSG Opens Office in Amsterdam
UK recruiter continues European expansion programme
Resource Solutions Group (RSG), one of the UK’s largest independent recruitment organisations, has launched its second office on mainland Europe within three months of opening its first in Munich.
The office in central Amsterdam, is part of a European-wide expansion programme, and will be opened under the group’s Sanderson brand, one of its specialist resourcing businesses.
RSG, which is also the parent group of RPO-focused Resource Management, reached the £220m turnover mark in 2014 and the new offices follow on from five years of consolidated growth across the UK. The group is now seeking to continue developing operations across northern Europe as part of a commitment to build a global footprint in line with the international resourcing market.
Nick Walrond, RSG director in charge of overseeing the EU expansion programme, said: “The Netherlands has seen a good period of growth in the past 12 months, which looks likely to continue, and with this comes an increase in the flexible jobs market. “We believe the expansion into the Netherlands will help us support our existing customers and also create opportunities for our range of services to be brought to the wider local market place. The Dutch market has different needs compared to the UK and Germany, so we are looking forward to seeing what the local Sanderson team, with their knowledge-based and relationship-led approach will deliver in the region.”
Headquartered in Bristol and with UK offices in London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Cardiff, RSG employs more than 200 people in the UK and specialises in IT, finance and business change. It also has a unique division catering for government and defence recruitment. Sanderson already works with global companies as well as household brands and SMEs to support business areas including IT, business transformation and financial and corporate services. The expansion plans are a product of a long-term strategy in which RSG successfully realigned its key brands, Sanderson and Resource Management, to create more integrated offer for its expanding client base.
Originally founded in 1975, RSG (Resource Solutions Group) has grown from a single recruitment company based in Bristol into a multimillion pound network of expert recruitment businesses. Still led by founder Keith Dawe and CEO Mike Beesley, the organisation provides a full breadth of individually tailored and professional recruitment solutions to multi-nationals, household names and SMEs. Headquarted in Bristol, RSG also has offices in London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Cardiff, Munich and Amsterdam.
