NFIA Israel Presents Mindspace with NFIA40 Award
In 2018, Mindspace chose Amsterdam for the location of their Benelux marketing and sales office
The NFIA praises the shared office provider Mindspace for its unique impact on the Dutch economy. The availability of office space is an important condition for enterprises considering to take up residence in a specific city or country. With its high-end options and the talent to create a perfect employee experience, Mindspace puts the Netherlands on the map for investors.
In 2018, Mindspace chose Amsterdam for the location of their Benelux marketing and sales office. From there, no less than seven shared offices are opened in the Netherlands. Five of which in Amsterdam and two in Utrecht.
“The award ceremony was a lovely event, and it is a great honor to receive this important recognition”, says Yotam Alory, co-founder and chief business officer at Mindspace. “We are very excited about the multitude of opportunities the Netherlands has to offer and we want to thank the NFIA for its appreciation.”
Mindspace provides offices and co-working spaces for teams of all sizes. The Israeli company opened its first branch in Tel Aviv in 2014. Four years later, Mindspace has locations in 28 other gateway cities. There are shared office spaces in cities such as San Francisco, London, Berlin, Warsaw and Utrecht. In February 2019, Mindspace will celebrate the official opening of the flagship space on the Spuistraat in Amsterdam.
Gateway to Europe
Home to marketing and sales operations of major multinational companies like IBM, Verizon and UL, the Netherlands has established itself as a magnet for foreign-owned marketing and sales operations. Holland’s strategic location at Europe’s front door provides the perfect springboard into the European market—with access to 95% of Europe’s most lucrative consumer markets within 24 hours of Amsterdam or Rotterdam.
2018 is a momentous year for the NFIA as we celebrate 40 years of operations. What started with a few employees picking up business visitors at Schiphol Airport in a small DAF automobile, back in 1978, has grown to become a successful and dynamic worldwide network with 115 employees working at 27 offices in 17 countries. Throughout its 40-year history, the NFIA and its partners have assisted more than 4,000 companies from all over the world to establish their businesses successfully here in the Netherlands.
