Rally Software Opens Central Amsterdam Office
Rally’s second European office serves as EMEA headquarters
This expansion follows Rally’s entrance into the Asia-Pacific market with the opening of an office in Melbourne, Australia. Rally also currently maintains an office in London, where on 11 October it will host RallyON Europe for customers in the EMEA region. RallyON brings together Rally customers, partners, industry thought leaders and employees to share, learn and inspire Agile and Lean development and portfolio management practices.
“Agile development aligns well with today’s fast-paced, fiercely competitive marketplace,” said Tim Miller, Rally’s CEO. “Our customers and opportunities in the European market are a reflection of the continued, global adoption of Agile practices.”
Bert van der Zwan joins the Rally team as Vice President of EMEA, bringing almost 10 years of experience with SaaS-based products. Van der Zwan was instrumental in growing Webex/Cisco’s business in EMEA from 2005 to 2009, achieving 400 percent top-line growth for the company.
“Establishing Rally’s European headquarters in Amsterdam strongly aligns with Rally’s focus on serving a global customer base and delivering on its mission to help transform the way organizations manage the software development lifecycle,” said van der Zwan. “This is a key strategic location for Rally’s ongoing international efforts, providing a link to the European, Middle East and African markets where Agile practices continue to gain acceptance and spur innovation worldwide.”
