WIL Research Opens New Facility in the Netherlands
The company will open a new safety assessment facility in Schaijk
WIL Research, a leading global Contract Research Organization (CRO) for the pharmaceutical, chemical and agrochemical industries, announced the opening of a new safety assessment facility in the Schaijk, the Netherlands.
“The addition of the Schaijk location enhances a strong center of excellence here in The Netherlands serving both global and local clients,” said Wilbert Frieling, D.V.M., senior vice president of European Operations for Ohio-based WIL Research.
The Ohio-based company plans for the new Schaijk facility to help meet the increasing demand for outsourced safety assessment and services and allow for additional high-quality capacity, study management and an enhanced reporting turnaround time.
The new modern and state-of-the-art facility is built upon a former pharmaceutical company laboratory and strategically located 11 miles from the company’s main Netherlands site in Den Bosch.
With its latest operation in the Netherlands, WIL Research now has approximately 1,400 staff worldwide with laboratories in the United States and Europe and sales and regulatory support in Asia.
