Daedong KIOTI Europe B.V. (KIOTI) has officially opened its new European headquarters in the heart of Rotterdam at the World Trade Center, marking a significant step forward for the company’s growth and ambitions in Europe, whilst adding to the Netherlands’ thriving agriculture business community.

KIOTI is a subsidiary of South Korea’s Daedong Corporation and South Korea’s largest agricultural and compact tractor manufacturer, which has been making tractors since 1968. The new office reflects KIOTI’s commitment to innovation, customer service and sustainable growth within the European agricultural and industrial machinery markets.

The move also underscores the Netherlands’ reputation as a hub for international business, where open collaboration and the drive to find forward-thinking solutions are part of the ecosystem.

Rotterdam plays key role in European ambitions

The new Rotterdam office, spanning over 500m², is set to play a key role in KIOTI’s ambition to become a top five tractor brand in Europe by 2030. The company has already surpassed a 2% market share and is aiming for more than 6% in the coming years.

At the office’s opening ceremony on 13th October 2025, distinguished guests from both the Netherlands and South Korea marked the occasion. During the event, Mr. Chiwhan Yoon, President and CEO of Daedong KIOTI Europe, highlighted the strategic importance of the new office as a cornerstone for KIOTI Europe’s future growth in the region.

He said: “As we look to the future, we see tremendous potential, and today’s new office expansion of more than 500m² is one of the key foundations for our future growth in Europe.”

The ceremony also featured remarks from H.E. Hong Seok-in, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Netherlands, who praised the enduring collaboration between the two nations: “Daedong KIOTI Europe’s steady growth and its expansion to a new office mark a truly meaningful milestone not only for the company but for our two countries as well. Economic cooperation stands out as a true symbol of the remarkable development of our bilateral relations. The Netherlands is now Korea’s second-largest trading partner in Europe.”

KIOTI’s footprint in the Netherlands

KIOTI’s recent announcement of a new warehouse facility in Venlo, in the south of the Netherlands, also further strengthens its European supply chain, ensuring rapid access to key markets and reinforcing the Netherlands’ position as a gateway to Europe.

As KIOTI Europe looks to the future, the company is confident that its new Rotterdam headquarters will serve as a launchpad for continued innovation, partnership, and success – reflecting the very best of the Netherlands’ business culture.

With its strategic location, world-class infrastructure, and open, collaborative culture, the Netherlands offers an ideal base for companies looking to innovate and grow. The country’s vibrant network of partners, from supply chain solution providers to research and government, enables businesses like KIOTI to thrive and deliver next-generation solutions for their European customers.
