May 2 @ 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm

NFIA_London

On Thursday the 2nd of May our NFIA colleagues in London are organising a panel discussion on why the Netherlands offers an excellent opportunity to scale up your Regenerative Medicine Company. The panel will discuss opportunities for UK companies in Dutch collaborations, and consortia, specifically the realisation of The RegMed XB Pilot Factory, a unique infrastructure that consists of facilities covering the entire chain of development and manufacturing of stem cells, (micro)tissues and smart (bio)materials.

The panel will consist of experts from the Dutch nationwide ecosystem:

  • Erik Eijrond, Chief Operating Officer at RegMed XB and coordinator of the realistion of the The RegMed XB Pilot Factory. RegMed XB is a public-private cross border partnership dedicated to bringing regenerative medicine solutions to patients and creating a new industrial sector.
  • Hanneke Later-Nijland, Attorney-at-law and Founder of Genome Lawyers. Genome Lawyers specialises in EU and national regulatory life sciences law. Hanneke is the only pharmacist-lawyer holding a PhD, and ex-inspector for Healthcare in the Netherlands, and probably in the EU.
  • Sjoerd Boomsma, Foreign Investment Developer Life Sciences & Health at LIOF Development & VC Company representing the Invest in Holland network – LSH focus team RM &Stem-cell.
  • Hilde Koning, Senior Project Manager at the UK and Ireland office for the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA).

The moderator for the afternoon will be Marjolein Brouwers, Chief Innovation Advisor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the UK.

Following the panel there will be an opportunity to network and connect with the panellists, as well as the business developers of various Pilot Factories.

Please note that places are limited. If you would be interested to attend or would like to receive more information, please contact our colleagues on [email protected].
