Arvist Establishes European Headquarters in the Netherlands to Accelerate AI-Driven Warehouse Innovation

AI-powered Arvist, a fast-growing AI pioneer in automated warehouse quality control and safety & compliance, has chosen the Netherlands as the location for its new European headquarters, establishing its base in Rotterdam to support a major market expansion in 2026.

Arvist’s computer vision platform uses existing warehouse infrastructure, security cameras, scanners, and warehouse management systems (WMS) data, to automate quality control, compliance, and safety across warehouse and logistics operations.

By overlaying intelligence onto current systems, the company helps logistics operations reduce claims and errors, accelerates throughput, and improves workplace safety, ultimately strengthening supply-chain resilience across Europe.

Tapping into supply chain connectivity

In selecting the Netherlands, Arvist cited the country’s strong supply-chain connectivity, multilingual workforce, and deep pool of logistics and AI talent, alongside the combined strength of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and the Port of Rotterdam. Offering both unrivalled connectivity across the continent and one of most advanced logistics hubs in the world, these hubs position Arvist at the center of Europe’s warehousing and distribution ecosystem and in proximity to the customers its platform is designed to serve.

Furthermore, the Netherlands offers Arvist access to a thriving ecosystem of IT and tech businesses and innovators, supporting technological advances and adoption across industry.

Arvist co-founder Werner Stapela remarked, “As an ambitious AI business experiencing rapid growth, we required a location offering more than mere access to the market. The Netherlands provides a sophisticated logistics network, seamless connections to EU clients, and an established reputation for helping pioneering tech firms expand across Europe. Rotterdam fulfilled all our requirements.”

European headquarters supporting supply chains across the EU

From its Rotterdam headquarters, Arvist will manage European sales, customer success, and product support operations, while laying groundwork for future R&D activities. Its AI-driven solutions support more resource-efficient logistics operations – from reducing waste, limiting mis-shipments, and improving worker safety – align closely with the Netherlands’ commitment to responsible innovation and creating a sustainable future.

Arvist was supported by the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) and the Holland International Distribution Council (HIDC), both part of the Invest in Holland network, throughout its evaluation and set‑up process.
