Cleantech Company Voltia Establishes Benelux Regional Headquarters in The Hague
“The Netherlands is the logistics capital of Europe”
As of today Voltia is a proud resident of The Hague. The European commercial electric vehicle as-a-service company opened their Benelux Regional Headquarters in the Netherlands, the logistics hotspot of Europe. Voltia facilitates the deployment of electric vehicles into commercial fleets in a smooth, cost effective and risk free manner. From their new office in The Hague Voltia will take their electric vehicle as-a-service model all over Europe.
Benelux Headquarters in logistics hotspot
“The Netherlands is a leader in progressive, forward thinking values and policymaking in the area of logistics and transport. Dutch people understand that the battle for a healthier, cleaner environment cannot be won without addressing emissions from delivery vehicles,” said Voltia’s co-founder Juraj Uhlehla, “We see a market for the large scale deployment of electric light commercial eVans here and we look forward to filling it.”
“The Netherlands is the logistics capital of Europe,” said Manolo de la Fuente, Benelux Regional Manager at Voltia, “and The Hague is an international, city located in the middle of it. We’re equidistant from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport and the Rotterdam The Hague airport, and very close to many potential clients in the Randstad. Our new Benelux office is walkable from public transport and also close to the highway, so our customers can easily visit us and our eVans can quickly deploy. This is the perfect setup for our company.”
Voltia is the successor company of Greenway Operator, which was founded in 2011 and is one of three 2016 European Sustainable Energy Leaders. After years of piloting and refining its technology and commercial electric vehicle as-a-service approach, Greenway became Voltia and now has a Central and Eastern Europe Regional Office in Slovakia and a DACH Regional Office in Austria.
