British Snag Tights Triples Distribution Capacity with New Site in the Netherlands

Snag Tights picks Venlo to ensure fulfilment of international orders post-Brexit

British size inclusive retailer Snag Tights have announced the launch of a new distribution centre in Venlo, the Netherlands. Snag Tights is an online-only retailer based in Livingston, Scotland, offering tights that fit every-size and every-shape. The new site in Venlo enable the Scottish brand to triple their distribution capacity as they look to meet growing consumer demand. The new premises were secured with the support of Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) and will ensure the brand can continue to fulfil international orders without disruption post-Brexit.

Ensuring delivery to customers globally post-Brexit

The award-winning retailer, who achieved 3733% growth in their first three years of trade, have expanded their distribution facilities to meet growing international demand. The move will also ensure they are able to continue to serve customers globally post-Brexit, with Snag Tights already fulfilling more than 500,000 orders from 50 regions outside the UK each year.

Located in the Limburg region, the 20,000 square foot premises in Venlo are double the size of the hosiery brand’s existing headquarters in Livingston, Scotland and are due to open on 1 December 2020. The new premises were secured with the support of the NFIA and the Limburg Development and Investment Company (LIOF). Both organizations helped Snag Tights with rolling out and expanding their international activities in the Netherlands. Despite the pandemic, the NFIA and LIOF were able to arrange a COVID-secure fact-finding trip for Snag Tights spanning Limburg, Brabant and East Netherlands.
