Japanese company Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI) is expanding its European operations with a new regional head office in the Netherlands. The comprehensive machinery maker’s new Dutch location will act as the headquarters for its new subsidiary Sumitomo Heavy Industries (Europe) B.V. (abbreviated as “SHI (Europe)”). The Netherlands provides SHI (Europe) with strategic access to key global markets and cutting-edge innovation as it develops technologies to provide solutions that contribute to society.
“SHI (Europe) will strive to ensure that the SHI Group can conduct its business activities with enhanced consolidated strength,” announced the company.
