The Netherlands has been honored with the prestigious Innovation Champion Award 2025 during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the world’s largest technology expo. Minister of Economic Affairs Dirk Beljaarts accepted the award, highlighting the Netherlands’ commitment to fostering a thriving investment climate and supporting innovative companies.

With this recognition, the Netherlands continues to solidify its reputation as a global innovation hub and a top destination for ambitious companies looking to grow.

Minister Beljaarts stated, “CES provides an unparalleled opportunity to showcase Dutch entrepreneurs and their groundbreaking innovations to a global audience. Championing innovation and entrepreneurship

The award recognizes nations excelling in entrepreneurship and technological innovation, underscoring the Netherlands’ success in creating an environment where startups and scaleups can thrive. This year, the Dutch delegation includes 50 companies spanning diverse sectors, such as life sciences, secure communication technologies, and sustainability.

At the Netherlands Pavilion, live product demonstrations and networking events aim to attract international investors and partners, further bolstering the visibility of Dutch innovation.

Participation in CES aligns with the Dutch government’s goal to stimulate innovation and support startups and scaleups in expanding internationally. The itinerary includes stops in Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Silicon Valley, focusing on fostering partnerships and promoting Dutch technological excellence.
