The Netherlands has built a reputation as one of the world’s leading hubs for quantum computing. In recent years, the Netherlands has invested heavily in quantum technology research and development, encouraged by the Dutch government. Strong collaboration via Quantum Delta NL (QDNL), the country’s public-private partnership of global tech companies, government agencies and major quantum research centers, has resulted in an unique ecosystem for quantum technologies. This national initiative connects five major quantum hubs with top universities and research centers, all within a 2-hour drive. Each hub features its own unique – but complementary – focus area, along with a wide range of shared test facilities and testbeds.
Companies looking to get into the quantum game find everything they need in the Netherlands. Bluefors is one example: their state-of-the-art lab in Delft provides a unique opportunity to the surrounding quantum community, facilitating R&D with flexible services and serving as a key platform for innovative solutions in the global scientific community.
