TETMET Establishes First ASLM Production Facility in the Netherlands

France‑based new materials company advances sustainable, circular and high-tech manufacturing innovation

TETMET, a pioneer in AI‑driven, sustainable manufacturing technologies, has chosen the Netherlands for its first fully vertically integrated production facility. With this expansion, the company brings its breakthrough Adaptive Spatial Lattice Manufacturing (ASLM) technology to SEGRO Park Amsterdam Airport in Hoofddorp, further enhancing the Netherlands’ position as a global hub for aerospace, Smart Industry and next‑generation materials innovation.

Leveraging Dutch innovation strengths to scale breakthrough ASLM technology

Founded on research originating in Eindhoven, TETMET has developed an entirely new engineering paradigm enabling the automated production of high‑performance metal lattice structures at any scale.

TETMET’s ASLM technology combines AI‑powered design software, off‑the‑shelf mechatronics and precision fiber‑laser welding, which produce structures up to 70% lighter than conventional metal components. These achieve the form freedom of additive manufacturing yet with drastically higher speed and efficiency, going beyond the current capabilities of 3D printers.

From its new Schiphol Airport location, TETMET will operate a 12 × 3 × 3‑meter production platform capable of manufacturing full‑scale components for aerospace, automotive, space launchers and defense applications.

The Dutch site aims to demonstrate the economical use of the ASLM technology at scale for the first time. It also seeks to become an example for licensing and integration with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as in automotive, while being a replicable concept for opening other vertically integrated factories throughout Europe and the USA.

Dutch infrastructure and talent accelerate growth

TETMET selected the Netherlands for its strong business climate for industrial innovation and world‑class logistics. Also citing excellent connectivity, the ability to efficiently serve European and global markets made the Netherlands a natural choice for TETMET. Amsterdam also offered the company a robust engineering talent pool aligned with TETMET’s rapid growth trajectory.

Strengthening Dutch advanced manufacturing and sustainable innovation

TETMET’s expansion aligns closely with the Netherlands’ commitment to sustainable and circular industry. ASLM minimizes waste, reduces embodied energy in materials and enables fully recyclable lattice structures, supporting the energy transition while easing pressure on the electrical grid. The company’s approach to decentralized production also contributes to reducing transport‑related emissions.

Support from Invest in Holland partners

In the company’s expansion to reinforce the Dutch advanced manufacturing ecosystem, TETMET was supported by the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) and Amsterdam Trade & Invest. Both NFIA and ATI assisted the company throughout its site selection process and establishment.
