Booz Allen Hamilton Expands its Business in the Netherlands
Global Technology and Management Consulting Firm Grows its Presence in Dutch Cybersecurity Ecosystem
US-based Booz Allen Hamilton is expanding its business in the Netherlands as part of the Dutch cybersecurity ecosystem. The firm will open a new office at the Campus of The Hague Security Delta, where it will harness Dutch tech talent to serve clients across Europe and pursue its cyber innovation goals. Booz Allen’s decision to grow in the Netherlands was supported by the Invest in Holland Network.
“We are proud to grow our global footprint with a talented security team in The Netherlands that will put regional expertise to work for clients, leveraging Booz Allen’s world class cyber trade-craft and building on our long tenure serving clients across Europe,” said Booz Allen Hamilton executive vice president Bill Phelps, leader of the firm’s US Commercial business.
Invest in Holland Network supports growing business in the Netherlands
When considering the Netherlands as a destination for business expansion, Booz Allen Hamilton turned to the Invest in Holland Network for support. This network comprises a collection of agencies including the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), which has 26 offices abroad, and 12 Dutch regional partners.
Through NFIA’s office in Atlanta, Booz Allen Hamilton became connected with InnovationQuarter, the regional agency for the greater Rotterdam – The Hague area. After establishing its European customers and bringing in key management, Booz Allen Hamilton decided to work with InnovationQuarter and The Hague Business Agency to find the right office location.
Dutch tech talent drives European market success
The Campus of The Hague Security Delta soon proved to be the preferred location, serving as the physical meeting place for the world-class Dutch cybersecurity industry. Furthermore, the Netherlands provides Booz Allen with critical access to European markets along with Dutch innovation, knowledge, capital and talent.
Thanks to the multilingual skills and digital expertise of the Dutch tech talent pool, Booz Allen will be able to better serve its diverse clients across Europe.
Pioneering cyber innovation in the Netherlands
As North America’s largest cybersecurity provider, Booz Allen Hamilton has found a unique opportunity to pursue cyber innovation by doing business in the Netherlands. The Hague Security Delta is Europe’s largest security cluster, and the Dutch IT industry serves as the ideal digital gateway to Europe.
During the 2020 RSA Conference on cybersecurity from February 24 – 28 in San Francisco, InnovationQuarter commended Booz Allen for its decision to expand in the Dutch cybersecurity ecosystem.
“We warmly welcome Booz Allen in the Netherlands and on the Hague Security Delta campus in The Hague” said Philip Meijer, Senior Account Manager of Cybersecurity at InnovationQuarter.
“The company is a great fit to the local cybersecurity ecosystem, where the balance between cyber security and privacy is well organized. The lessons learned are particularly well developed in the context of The Hague Security Delta,” he concluded.
